AGCSC is active at several popular soaring sites in Southern California. Our present home base is the Warner Springs Gliderport, located about 10 nautical miles south east of Palomar Mountain. We also soar the beautiful cliffs of Torrey Pines during the late winter and early spring months. More detailed information about the sites we frequent on a regular basis can be found below.

On several occasions in the past, we have based one of our aircraft at a soaring location in Southern California outside of the San Diego area, for a period of a few weeks to a few months. These sites include Crystal (operated by Crystal Soaring), and Hemet-Ryan (operated by Sailplane Enterprises). Over the past several years, our summer safari to Lone Pine has been a big hit with many of our members.
