Introduction
The SZD 51-1 Junior is a
modern single seat fiberglass/composite sailplane made by PZL Bielsko
of Poland, (producer of the well known Jantar series, as well as the
SZD 50-3 Puchacz). Robust construction, good performance, responsive
controls, forgiving flight characteristics, sleek modern lines, and
a large accomodating cockpit make the Junior the best club ship ever
designed in the eyes of many pilots.
AGCSC's Junior was acquired in February of 2002 and is based at Warner
Springs.
